I haven't watched the episode but if it's true that the guy didn't say "It's up to you" then maybe his translation for this one is correct. But I haven't watched the episode and I don't want spoilers so I can't confirm.
It is complete utter nonsense to comment on something you haven't seem, it's also really stupid to comment when you don't know Japanese, imo.
